A Story of Injustice
I had an accident in 2008 while working in Spain. Although I survived, I became physically disabled. With the support of doctors, lawyers, and my family, I received compensation and decided to invest in Ghana, my native country.
I purchased land from the Accra LA Chief to develop real estate. Unfortunately, my property was demolished along with others by authorities, and the land was sold to other investors at higher prices. Below are images of the property before and after the demolition:

The person with police was shot dead on that of demolition. He left widowa with an orphan.
Now, at 16 years of disability, I have lost everything I worked for. The Ghanaian authorities have unjustly taken away my dream and my means of living.
Why This Matters
As a Ghanaian citizen, I believed in contributing to my country’s development. However, the demolition of my property has raised concerns about the treatment of local investors. This incident discourages others from investing in Ghana and harms the trust in our institutions.
This issue is not just mine; it could happen to any Ghanaian or even foreign investors. The government needs to ensure fair treatment for all citizens and investors. Without justice, our nation risks losing its credibility and future opportunities.
I call on the Ghanaian government and international community to address this injustice and prevent further harm to its citizens and their investments.
